RR
1. Yashasvi Jaiswal - A Left Handed batsman, and after giving away Robin Uthappa to CSK, he could be the team's regular opening batsman. He is a talented Indian youngster and didn't have a good season in the last edition but needs some experience and exposure and has the required talent to get going with the bat. So do watch out for him.
2. Chetan Sakariya - He has been a tremendous bowler and a consistent wicket taker for Saurashtra in the domestic tournaments. He took 12 wickets in 5 games in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season, at an economy of just 4.9 and an average of 8.17. A great left arm Indian seam prospect in the lineup and is likely to feature in their starting XI for majority of the fixtures. He could be a good talent to watch out for.
3. Rahul Tewatia - Ever since his famous 30 run over against Cottrell, the latter went out of IPL as well as the Windies squad, but Tewatia got an International call-up though is yet to make a debut there. Tewatia has proven to be an excellent hitter even in the domestic tournaments for Haryana, and has been a good legbreak bowler as well. The perfect finisher for the Royals and after the previous season, he'd love to take his form and confidence forward and do much better this season with both bat and ball.
4. Ben Stokes - He has been their star all rounder since 2018 and has been promoted to be an opener for the team now. He has been a tremendous player for the team and actually the best player the team currently has. He has proved to be the best buy for the franchise and would be looking forward to another amazing season ahead of the T20I World Cup 2021.
5. Shivam Dube - From one Royals to another, he didn't get much chances to perform last year, but as the Royals lack a good middle order, Dube would play a crucial role with both bat and ball, and play as a finisher for the team in this season. He is a great hitter of the ball and was the best performer for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali 2021 season as well. He would look to perform really well here and he would be a player to look out for, this season.
6. Chris Morris - The most expensive buy for the Royals this season. In the absence of Archer, he would be their death bowler and all the dependency of their bowling unit would be on him. He is also a good finisher and he would have to stay fit throughout the season unlike last time, and prove his worth for the price at which he has been bought for.
7. Andrew Tye - In the absence of Archer, he would most likely occupy his spot to strengthen the attack a bit. He had a really good BBL season for the Perth Scorchers. He was the 5th highest wicket taker in the same by collecting 21 wickets, at an average of 20.62. He is also a wicket taking death bowler and would like to do well and capitalize on Archer's absence.
8. Sanju Samson - After giving Smith away, he's the team's new skipper. He was the team's highest run scorer in the last season, and scored at a strike rate of 158.90 in the last season. He had a good domestic season for Kerala as well, and now, with the additional responsibility of captaincy on him, he would look to have a good season ahead with the bat for the Royals this season and make his way back into the Indian squad for the T20I World Cup 2021.
