KKR

1. Andre Russell - Undoubtedly one of the best T20 All rounder. Strikes the ball at more than 150, and bowls at a speed of more than 140kmph. He has been their match winner and can single-handedly turn the games into their favour from a tough position. His only concern will be his match fitness issue due to which he hasn't been able to give a 100% throughout the season, but he's the team's best player and the biggest threat to the oppositions.

2. Eoin Morgan - The skipper of the side. He has looked off colors for England in the previous series against India, but ahead of the T20I World Cup 2021, he'd love to get going on these Indian wickets. He was one of the team's best performer in the previous season and handles the middle order and the finishing abilities really well.

3. Shubhman Gill - He was the only player in the previous season who stayed as an opener throughout the season and saw 4 different opening partners as the season went by. He was the team's highest run scorer last season and was the best batsman for the team. He recently got capped for India in the Test format as well, and would look to continue his good form in the IPL for KKR.

4. Nitish Rana - He started as a No.4 batsman for KKR last season, then came to No.3 and ended up as their opener, and ideally he would be opening this season as well alongside Gill. He scored 2 80+ scores in the 5 games that he opened in, but the other 3 games were all 0(1), so he has either gone big or gone on the first ball. He wasn't an opener for Delhi too, but he had a really good Syed Mushtaq Ali season with Delhi, and would look to give good support to Gill at the top.

5. Venkatesh Iyer - His first ever draft in IPL, and a really talented Indian youngster to bat at No.3 batsman. He scored 227 runs in 5 innings, at an average of 75.67, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy'2021. He had 2 80+ scores in the season, and would be looking forward to do really well in this format as well.

6. Varun Chakravarthy - He was the team's highest wicket taker last season, and the only bowler to have registered a 5-wicket haul in the entire IPL 2020 edition. He was drafted twice for the Indian tour but had to miss out both times due to fitness issues, but now is back from the NCA and would be looking forward to an injury-free season with KKR as well as the further Indian tours ahead of the World Cup in October. He would be the pick of the bowlers from this team.

7. Vaibhav Arora - He registered 10 wickets in 7 games of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2021 season, and 8 of them came against units who had a strong batting lineup, like Baroda, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. He's now the only player from Himachal Pradesh to feature in this season of IPL and that's because of his meritorious performance in the domestic circuit. He might not be in their starting XI but is likely enough to get a chance to play as the tournament goes on, so do keep an eye out on him.
