The Final.
Teams: Sydney Sixers vs Perth Scorchers.
Venue: SCG.

Preview: Finally after a 60 match long marathon season the BBL 10 Finals are here.  From beating the Pandemic Blues to filling the grounds with spectators, BBL 10 has somehow delivered a strong statement that it is the sport that can be the ultimate reliever during the troubled times.

Two of the best teams of BBL history who have shared 5 titles in between them are playing in the Finals tonight. On one hand, there is Sydney Sixers who has dominated the tournament right from the start and are the favourites to win their 3rd title in their home ground. On the other hand, Scorchers have staged one of the best comebacks in their history winning 8 of their last 10 league matches to be in the Finals. They do have significant absentees in their lineups but will take a lot of heart from their performance in the 2nd Qualifier.

Ground Report:
The iconic SCG is slated to hold the first match this season. Now Sydney has been a good scoring venue but there has been unpredictable bounce of late.  This means that bowlers who can vary their pace and bowl cutters would be important in this venue. The bigger boundaries suggest that the spinners would come into play especially the one bowling in second innings would be important. From the batting point of the view batsmen who can hit the long ball would enjoy batting over here.

Recent Ground Performance:
There hasn't been any BBL matches held at SCG but there has been 2 T20 matches held between India and Australia.

(Note: Jason Roy is injured.)

SYS:- Joshua Phillippe(wk), James Vince, Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques(c), Jordan Silk, Dan Christian, Carlos Brathwaite, Ben Dwarshius, Steve O'Keefe, Jackson Bird, Sean Abbott.

My team:
Wk: Inglis, Phillippe.
Batsmen: Munro, Henriques, Vince.
All Rounders: Christian, Hardie, Livingstone.
Bowlers: Tye, Richardson, Sean Abbott.

Reserve: Dwarshius, Silk, Fawad Ahmed.

Note: The Finals are generally unpredictable so I am not providing any Captain/VC choices. Go through and follow your instincts.

Scenarios:
1. Moises Henriques has a good ground and H2H record and can lit up the finals on its own.
2. SCG is a bigger ground and if PS can get a couple of wickets upfront then the likes of Jordan Silk becomes important. A must pick if you are missing the top order.
3. Fawad Ahmed if bowls second becomes an automatic choice.
4. Dan Christian is a good choice for captaincy along with Mitchell Marsh.
5. Keep an eye on Aaron Hardie as a credit saver.

Do go through the playing Xi and the pitch and ground report after the toss.
