*KKR VS RR MATCH REVIEW*

*YASHASVI JAISWAL IS A NOTCH ABOVE THE REST:*

IPL witnessed a storm today, in the form of Jaiswal. Not only did he smash the fastest IPL fifty ever but showed incredible promise to what he can offer as a talented youngster. He batted with some intent, smashing every ball left right and centre and was not looking to stop. His game awareness was fine as well as he did not compromise his intentful batting right in the first over when Rana brought himself on.

The pitch had enough grip for the three quality spinners that KKR had but it was truly the mastery of Jaiswal supported well by the captain’s knock that guided RR to a smashing 9 wicket win in just 13.1 overs, giving a huge boost to their net runrate. The innings started with Yashasvi taking Rana for 26 runs in an over, the most this IPL but this was soon followed by Buttler being on the wrong end of a run out however from then on, there was no turning back for RR as they cruised and dominated the entirety of the chase.

*CHAHAL HIGHLIGHTS RAJASTHAN’S BOWLING EFFORT:*

Chahal made full use of what this surface offered, accounting for four KKR batters. Most importantly, he sent both Rana and Venkatesh to the pavilion. While the former was looking in good nick, the latter was set for a strong finish. Chahal denied a Rana special and restricted Iyer to go berserk in the final phase of the innings. In the process, the wizard went past a milestone as well, becoming the leading wicket taker of IPL.

Earlier in the night, both Gurbaz and Roy were looking dangerous but two tremendous catches (one at the boundary line and the other one inside the inner circle) cut short their innings. From then on, Chahal took over and it all went downsouth for the Knight riders who ended up making their home crowd upset.
