*MI VS RCB MATCH 54 REVIEW*

*VIDEO GAME MAN BLOWS RCB AGAIN:*

Rewind to 2020 where SKY single-handedly demolished the RCB bowling lineup. Today was no different. The Mumbaikar was almost flawless in his classy effort of 83 runs and heavily cashed on some poor bowling comprisining of full tosses and slot hit-me balls. Chasing exact 200, MI got off to flier with the pocket dynamite making a mockery of Challengers powerplay bowling but a double wicket over from Hasaranga brought RCB back into the game. Post that, ever since Wadhera and SKY joined hands, it was a one way traffic and RCB were in no control of their bowling strategy. They overcompensated by bowling a ton of short balls only to see the ball flying to all corners of the stadium. Despite two wickets falling at the backend in the same over, MI cruised to a 6 wicket comfortable win with 21 balls to spare and riding on high level confidence, jumped to the third spot in the points table. SKY, the wrecker in chief and the demolisher rued on RCB’s hopes once again, helping MI ace this chase.

*CRICKET IS ALL ABOUT FINDING THE RIGHT TIMING:*

We often look at a scorecard and are hardly able to make sense of how the game would have proceeded. It’s important to look at the match, closely analysing every small detail. Today, when Faf and Maxwell joined hands after a rare failure for Virat and a disappointing shot from Rawat, it looked as if they were set to take Bengaluru’s score post 215 but both their innings were closed at bizarre intervals, denting RCBs hopes of an insane finish. Maxwell got out playing an Aggresive shot at the wrong time, when these two were going bonkers and on the other hand, Faf threw his wicket away knowing that RCB were in a spot of bother with successive wickets falling and the half centurion from last game also departed for a low score. Come DK at the back end, he finally got going and found his old groove on these Mumbai tracks but even his innings was cut short with over 8 balls still remaining in the first innings. This game is all about the small margins and today RCB were on the wrong end of these margins, reducing the chances of what could have been a 220 like target.
