*GT VS LSG PREVIEW- MATCH 51*

*THE BUILD UP:*

*BEAST LIKE MENTALITY FROM GT GIVES THEM ANOTHER MASSIVE VICTORY:*

Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha finally stepped up with a big score today. They were attacking, dominating and pummelled the opposition with comfort. As Shubman said to the press at the half way mark, it was a tacky wicket upfront but the opening duo did not need any measures to give a punch to LSG who are already suffering from the loss of their skipper Rahul. While Saha eventually departed for a cracking 81, Gill played all the way through falling just 6 short of a stellar century at a rapid pace. What was most surprising was his six count as he raced to 7 sixes and just 2 boundaries. In the middle, Hardik Pandya in an attempt to up the ante, fell to left armer Mohsin Khan as he scored 25 off just 15, contributing with a valuable cameo. With Miller partnering Gill at the end, GT added another 14 in the finale over, amassing the fifth highest total of this season- 227/2.

*LSG FALL MIGHTY SHORT:*

The Krunal led unit faced a stiff task while chasing the Mount Everest. They were disappointing at best as they couldn’t quite capitalise on the start that they got. Quinton Dekock, playing his first game this season, starred with a fabulous 70 off 41 balls, striking at over 170. He was partnered by the attacking Mayers who has been in stependous form this season. The manner in which the Caribbean raced away alongside the SouthAfrican made life easier for LSG but the next three falling for a collective total of just 18 runs is what was the ultimate reason of the loss. Mohit Sharma through the middle and in the death phase of the game turned things around for GT, claiming four wickets and remaining economical at the same time. Ever since Mohit has returned to the IPL, he has been sensational and today was no different.

It was a bad day to captain a side for the older Pandya brother. Not only did his bowlers leak over 220 runs in the first innings, but he couldn’t add anything to the board falling for a golden duck.
