*CSK VS PBKS REVIEW*

*CONWAY’S 92 COUPLED WITH MSD’S BURST GIVES CSK A PERFECT 200:*

Conway has been the epitome of consistency this season. He has mustered along courage with his shots and has over 400 runs already. Today was no such exception as he masterfully marched to 92, just 8 short of a hundred. Starting off, Gaikwad looked a bit scratchy and eventually departed for a 31 ball 37 but as soon as Dube arrived, he took on the PBKS bowlers without mercy. He was the wrecker in chief, depositing all into the stands with disdain. Both Conway and Dube formed a strong partnership but after they were seperated was probably the first time Punjab sensed a comeback. Moeen Ali and Jadeja fell for cheap scores failing to add anything of value and a strong finish from MSD, with the crowd going bonkers, pulled the momentum back into Chennai’s favour at the backend. At the half way stage, they would not have expected Punjab to even come close with the pitch offering turn and grip.

*PBKS PULL OFF THE UNIMAGINERY:*

Beating Chennai at the MA Chidambaram is the stuff you dream about and it’s largely due to their stunning record at home. Barring PBKS after today, only RR were able to emerge victorious here and even that game ended in a last over nail biting finish. Punjab started well with both Dhawan and PrabhSimran in the attacking mood but when Tushar Deshpande got hold of Shikhar, CSK sensed a couple more and Jadeja delivered soon enough with Punjab reeling with 3 down within 11 overs of the chase. Come the time when Liam and Sam joined hands, they were brutal and calculative at the same time, keeping the scoreboard ticking and not letting CSK get away with anything loose. Livingstone romped up a fabulous 40 with Sam chipping in with a 29. But the drama started right when they were dismissed. Despite Pathirana bowling an excellent final over, Raza maintained his calm and was quick on his feet to master the doubles and triple game to ultimately seal the win for Punjab and exposing CSK’s horrid death bowling once again.
