*DC VS KKR REVIEW*
*DC HUFF AND PUFF BUT OPEN THEIR ACCOUNT AT LAST:*
Strange world this is, isn’t it? Both teams, trying their best to lose nearly lost it at crunch situations yet the game was supposed to have a winner and ultimately DC triumphed over a struggling KKR in a game where DC were cruising at one point before losing wickets in a bunch, allowing KKR to get back in the game, and then finally giving something to the home crowd to cheer about.
*SHAW HAS BEEN ABYSMAL:*
Shaw, Delhi’s star batter over the years and a very aggressive opener upfront, is far away from setting the stage on fire. There has not just been a dip in his strike rate but his overall IPL average has also fallen, and gotten below 30. These are troubling signs for DC, who are already facing the heat. Today again, the ball went through his gate as he walked back off a misery stay at the crease.
*ISHANT ROARS AS DELHI BEGIN THEIR FIRST STEP INTO CLAWING BACK INTO THE TOURNEY:*
Homeboy Ishant Sharma deservingly got a game and did not let the opportunity slip. He accounted for figures of 2/19 off his four in his comeback game and utilised every ounce of help that was available on this Delhi track, which produced a low scoring thriller. Hoping to see more of him in the upcoming games.
