*THE BUILD UP:*

*TIME TO GET OVER THIS HORRID START:*

Delhi have been battered and bruised this season. It’s been a forgettable start,losing five in a row. While Warner has been among the runs, he has failed to move along at a healthy pace. To couple that up with inconsistent performances throughout the lineup, with Axar being the only bright spot. DC have to shake things up a bit, starting off with their captain breaking the shackles and stamping his authority. There needs to be a resurrection from this unit, who are looking to get their first two points this season. 

*DC PROBABLE XI:*

David Warner(c), Prithvi Shaw, Yash Dhull, Mitchell Marsh, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Abhishek Porel(wk), Lalit Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Anrich Nortje 

DC can best utilise Dhull if he bats in the Top3. He is a youngster and a top order batter and DC can bring the best out of him if he bats at No3. 

Manifesting Axar Patel to come up the order. I have placed him at No6 but being inside top5 also wound not be a bad move, given the impeccable touch that he is in. 

Anrich Nortje with his pace and bouncers can be a great matchup against a KKR outfit that struggles vs back of length and short pitched bowling. His importance should be invaluable. 

*IMPACT PLAYER STRATEGY:*

Delhi could use Aman Khan, a powerful lower order batter and a strong bowler. 

*KKR NEED COLLECTIVE EFFORTS OVER INDIVIDUAL BRILLIANCES:* 

KKR have had a mixed season so far. While they have won two games, it was largely due to individualy brilliant performances first by Shardul Thakur and second by, Rinku Singh who was a part of one of the craziest finishes IPL has witnessed. It’s time that the Nitish led unit turn up together to dismantle oppositions because in this day and age in such a competitive tournament, it’s hard to be committed only to single efforts. 

*KKR PROBABLE XI:*

Jason Roy, N Jagadeesan(wk), Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana(c), Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Shardul Thakur, Sunil Narine, Umesh Yadav, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Chakravarty 

Both Narine and Varun should be favoured while bowling on this wicket, which has seen Delhi collapse like a pack of cards. 

Umesh Yadav, a potent powerplay option, could come in handy. The other day Anrich wrecked havoc on this same wicket which supported bounce. Umesh could make use of this. 

*IMPACT PLAYER STRATEGY:*

Suyash Sharma, who enjoyed a quality debut is likely to be drafted in as the impact sub. Alongside Varun and Narine, he could play a pivotal role on this ground against this opposition.
