*KKR VS SRH PREVIEW*
*THE BUILD UP-*
When the auctions were done and dusted, no one would have given a chance to KKR with the squad they had assembled but look at them now: they are blossoming under the wealth of experience that Pandit serves and an inexperienced captain in Nitish, having won one home game (dominantly) and an away game (with spunk) in the three games they have contested in, so far.
Contrary to this, SRH would have fancied more votes with a complete squad in their realms but two shocking defeats up their sleeves to start their tourney would have pushed them back a bit but now, after a confidence boosting victory over PBKS, SRH would feel at ease again. They would know that a few more wins in this early part of the tournament can do them a world of good.
*KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS-*
*PROBABLE XI:*
N Jagadeesan(wk), Litton Das, Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Shardul Thakur, Sunil Narine, Umesh Yadav, Suyash Sharma, Varun Chakravarty
A return to their home ground should prove to be decisive for KKR. If they exploit the conditions just as well as they did against RCB, we may see another comprehensive beating from the Nitish led side.
The spin trio of Narine-Varun-Suyash could well turn the wheel in their favour, if they stick to what gave them success the other time around. The struggling form of batters like Brook,Mayank and Sundar from the SRH camp could also be another pivotal reason that could tilt the favour in KKR’s favour.
With two star batters returning into the setup, in the form of Das and Roy, I expect one of them to get a go and with the form that Das is in, it would be a crime if he doesn’t feature in that XI.
*SUNRISERS HYDERABAD:*
*PROBABLE XI-*
Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Agrawal, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram(c), Heinrich Klaasen(wk), Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, Mayank Markande
From what we saw last game, the pitch aided turn and with the presence of all of Abhishek,Tripathi and Klaasen in one XI who are incredible spin players, the fortunes of SRH could just turn once again in their favour.
If Abhishek is fit and raring to go, he should replace Brook at the top, partnering Mayank.
Keep your eyes on Bhuvneshwar who is going to feature in his 150th game as a player and given his showoff worthy record vs KKR, he should be integral to SRH’s success.
