The Legends League Cricket is back and it is bigger than before. The Inaugural edition of Legends League Cricket presented the cricket fans across the world with tonnes of nostalgia and rekindled a lot of childhood memories.
The Inaugural Edition of LLC featured cricketing legends majorly from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, and England. The players were divided into three teams representing India, Asia and the Rest of the World and it was World Giants that ended up winning the inaugural edition. Asia Lions were the runners-up.
The second edition of the Legends League Cricket is scheduled to be held between September 20 and October 10, 2022, in Oman and this year the tournament will be featuring four privately owned franchises instead of three.
Commissioned by former Indian player and coach Ravi Shastri, the LLC has roped in some of the biggest cricketing legends in World Cricket for the second edition. As many as 110 players have registered themselves for the tournament, out of which 80 players will get selected under the auction draft in August.
The players who have till now registered themselves for the LLC Season 2 are:

Srilanka: Sanath Jayasuriya, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Muttiah Muralitharan, Dilhara Fernando, Ajantha Mendis, Thishara Perera.
Pakistan: Mohammad Yousuf, Shoaib Akhtar, Misbah ul Haq, Shahid Afridi.
Australia: Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson.
West Indies: Darenn Sammy, Denesh Ramdin, Lendl SImmons.
South Africa: Albie Morkel, Jonty Rhodes.
