The Day 2 promised a lot of action and entertainment after India staged one of the most remarkable comebacks in Test Cricket on Day 1.

Jadeja scores his 1st Overseas century.

Shami and Jadeja started building on a partnership as India was eyeing a score of 400. The duo put on 48 runs for the 8th wicket. Jadeja who had luck in his side got a few top edges as he brought up his 3rd Test Century bringing out the sword once again.

Anderson has his fifer as Bumrah gets a world record.

Jadeja finally got cleaned up an inswing er from Anderson. Jasprit Bumrah who walked in next threw his bat at everything. Bumrah accounted for 35 runs in a single over of Stuart Broad who was hit for 2 sixes and 4 fours in a single over as India reached 400. Bumrah stayed unbeaten at 31 as Anderson scalped the wicket of Siraj thus claiming his 32nd 5 wicket haul.

Bumrah strikes thrice as rain played spoilsport.

Putting in to bat England didn't had a good start either. They lost Alex Lees early as Bumrah cleaned him up. Rain breaks disturbed the momentum as Zak Crawley and Ollie Pope too ran out of patience giving their wickets cheaply to Bumrah. England were 60/3 at Tea Break.

Siraj sends back Root as play closes early.

Joe Root and Johnny Bairstow two of the main pillars of England's batting started the rebuilding process. However Root could not replicate his rich form against India as he was caught behind to Mohammad Siraj for 31. Jack Leach who walked in as the night watchman too fell for a duck as England was left reeling at 84/5 after Day 2.

Brief Scores:

India: 416/10.

Jadeja: 104.

Anderson: 5w.

England: 84/5.

Bumrah: 3w.
