The T20 World Cup is just round the corner, and this time the tournament will be held in Australia. Team India will be raring to perform well this time round after having a forgettable T20 World Cup 2021, where they had an unceremonious group stage exit. Team India had several loopholes in the T20 World Cup 2021 and they are well in track to address those issues.

Today, we will be discussing about ten Indian Players who can be on the flight down under.

Ruturaj Gaikwad: The Indian team needs a backup opener for sure. They have Kl Rahul and Rohit Sharma already. Shikhar Dhawan is not a favorite to be in contention. Also the form of Ishan Kishan is a bit disappointing. That's where Ruturaj Gaikwad steps in. Ruturaj has recently made his debut in Indian colors and had a glorious IPL 2021 behind him where he scored 636 runs and became the Orange Cap holder. Another good IPL season might seal the deal for him.

Sanju Samson: He has been in and out of the Indian team but he is one of the cleanest strikers of the cricket ball and can play the role of an aggressor if required. Also the indifferent form of Ishan Kishan with the bat opens up a spot for Samson in the middle.

Venkatesh Iyer: If there is one player on whom all eyes will be on it is Venkatesh Iyer. Generally a top order batting all-rounder, Venkatesh Iyer has been entrusted with the job of playing as a finisher and as the 6th bowling option for Team India. If Venkatesh Iyer manages to stay fit and deliver we might see him playing as the designated all-rounder in Australia.

Ishan Kishan: Ishan Kishan has earned the tag of being the most expensive Indian Player in IPL 2022 for his explosive batting at the top. His wicket keeping is an added bonus though. Although Kishan has failed to shine of late in Indian colors his credibility with the bat is unquestionable. Also India looking at the backup for Shikhar Dhawan validates his case giving India a left-right combination at the top. He will be seen in action next against Srilanka where Rishabh Pant has been rested.

Harshal Patel: India's death bowling has improved drastically with the emergence of Harshal Patel who ended up as the highest wicket taker of IPL 2021. Harshal Patel did a commendable job with the ball in hand against the West Indies. His partnership with Jasprit Bumrah at the death overs will be a treat to watch. Also Harshal's ability to bat down the order makes him an exciting prospect.

Deepak Chahar: Deepak Chahar is up the pecking order as the bowling order for India in limited overs cricket. Chahar holds the best bowling figures for India in T20 cricket and has a knack of picking up wickets with his swing. Chahar has even upscaled his batting of late and can hit the ball hard. He along with Shardul Thakur can be looked as India's number 8 batsman.

Washington Sundar: Spinners bowling in Powerplays has been looked upon as a special talent in T20 cricket and India has one in the form of Washington Sundar. Sundar has got 75% of his wickets in the Powerplays and can bowl 3 overs upfront if required.

Ravi Bishnoi: Wrist Spinners are always a welcome prospect in T20 cricket and it becomes an added advantage in Australia where the grounds are bigger. Bishnoi has been looked as the backup of Yuzvendra Chahal but if conditions favour spin in the T20 World Cup, we might see Ravi Bishnoi in Indian World Cup squad.

Avesh Khan: He is raw, he is quick and he can bowl anywhere if required. That has been the USP of Avesh Khan who has ruled the IPL 2021. Avesh's ability to swing the ball and his ability to bowl the knuckle ball can fast forward his case for the T20 World Cup in Australia.

T. Natarajan: His name might surprise a few but Natarajan was one of the most sought after bowlers for India in the T20s before being ruled out due to an injury. Natarajan's left arm angle makes him a valuable prospect and can bowl upfront and also at the death. Also the fact he has travelled to Australia before and performed exceedingly well makes him an automatic choice for the trip down under.
