BCCI has announced the final draft of 590 players who have been shortlisted for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Among the 590 players, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and 7 belong to Associate Nations. As many as 48 players have registered themselves in the Rs 2 crore bracket which is the highest reserve price There are 20 players in the Rs 1.5 crores bracket and 34 players in Rs 1 crore bracket.

The Players in the Rs 2 crore price bracket list are:

The 1 crore bracket list comprises of:

The BCCI has also announced the following 10 players as the marquee players for the upcoming IPL.

Notably all these players have registered at the base price of Rs 2 crores.

The IPL Auction 2022 is set to take place on February 12th and 13th at Bengaluru. It will be conducted by Hugh Edmaedes for the fourth consecutive time.

The IPL 2022 will be a 10 team affair this time round with 2 new teams from Lucknow and Ahmadabad joining the roster. As many as 30 players have been retained by the 10 franschsies ahead of the IPL Auctions.

Veteran T20 Players like Chris Gayle, Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Joe Root have made themselves unavailable for the auctions whereas Jofra Archer who decided to skip the IPL auction initially have made himself available for the auctions.

S. Sreesanth who completed the ban imposed on him by BCCI has registered for the auctions at a base price of Rs 50 Lakhs.

Imran Tahir is the oldest player to have registered for the IPL auctions at the age of 42. Noor Ahmad, the 17 year old U19 spinner from Afghanistan is the youngest player in the IPL auctions.

The U19 stars of Indian U19 World Cup Triumph too find themselves at the auction table with the likes of Yash Dhull, Harnoor Singh, Sk Rasheed, Vicky Ostwal etc.

Overall it is going to be a mega event with the fate of many global stars on the line vouching for that exclusive IPL contract.
