All Rounders are the heart of a team in T20 cricket and rightly so. The entire team dynamics and balance depends on the quality of all-rounders picked in the squad.
IPL has time and again proved that all-rounders are high value buys in IPL Auctions and over the years many former and modern day great all-rounders have graced the tournament.
With the IPL Mega Auctions around the corner today we will be looking at the top 10 all-rounders who are likely to get the highest bid in the IPL.
1. Mitchell Marsh: Mitchell Marsh is currently in a dream run. He has won the T20 World Cup as well as the BBL in the last 3 months and has been equally versatile with the bat and ball. An aggressive batsman who prefers to bat in top 3, Mitchell Marsh can also slip in 2-3 overs of medium pace. His variations will be highly useful at the Indian pitches. He is currently placed at the Rs 2 crore price bracket.
2. Jason Holder: Jason Holder is another hot property in IPL currently. Holder has time and again proven his worth in the IPL and has picked up 30 wickets in the last 2 IPL sessions. Holder was an integral part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad setup last year but unfortunately has not been retained this year round. With the IPL Auctions arriving, there will be many teams who will be targetting Holder.
3. Dwayne Bravo: Dwayne Bravo is an all-time IPL champion. Bravo is currently the second highest wicket taker in IPL history with 167 wickets and is likely to be the highest wicket taker of IPL. He is all likely to be roped in by the Ahmadabad Franchise where Hardik Pandya is the skipper but he can attract bidders from other franchises too.
5. Shakib Al Hasan: The star all-rounder from Bangladesh too has been an IPL veteran but has not been able to light up the tournament on his own of late. His base price is Rs 2 crores.
