Today we will be talking about the 5 wicket keepers who will be in high demand in IPL. Notably there are 6 franchises who are in need of a wicket keeper.

1) Ishan Kishan:

Ishan Kishan is the first wicket keeper in our list. Kishan is currently a hot property in Indian cricket. He is an explosive keeper batsman who can bat up the order, bat in the middle and can also lead if the requirement arises. He played as a backup wicket keeper for Mumbai Indians and has scored 1452 runs with a strike rate of 134. He will enter into the auctions with a base price of Rs 2 crores.

2) Johnny Bairstow:

Johnny Bairstow has been one of the successful wicket keeper batsman in the IPL in recent times. His blistering stroke play while opening the batting has made him a hot prospect in IPL. Bairstow strikes at 142 in the IPL and enters the auction with a base price of Rs 1.5 crores. However, his availability at the later stages of the IPL is a matter of concern.

3) Quinton de Kock:

4) Dinesh Karthik:

Dinesh Karthik has been a old war horse for sure but till date he has the ability to play as the finisher role in IPL. A middle order batsman Dinesh Karthik is a treat to watch when in flow and he can even lead the side with the amount of experience he brings in. The veteran keeper has played 213 matches and has over 4000 runs in IPL with a strike rate of just below 130. And at 36 he can still be a value for money. He has a base price of Rs 2 crores.

5) Nicholas Pooran:

Pooran has been a household name in global franchise cricket but a lacklustre IPL performance has somehow dented his reputation in India. Pooran strikes at 155 in his IPL career but is down on consistency. The 26 year old can even lead if the requirement arises.
