Today we will be talking about 5 underrated players who will be taking part in the IPL Auctions.

Shikhar Dhawan: The first name that features in our list is our very own Gabbar. Shikhar Dhawan may not have been retained by any of the franchise. He is not even in the regular scheme of things for India's T20 setup. But he is still a dangerous batsman in the shorter formats of the game. Dhawan scored over 550 runs in the last 2 editions of the IPL for Delhi Capitals but still there is not enough hue and cry over his selection as the IPL probables. Dhawan showed brilliant class in the ODI series against South Africa with 2 50s in 3 games. With a base price of Rs 2 crores, Dhawan now aged 36 still has a lot of fire in him.

Jason Holder: He is a Caribbean with a flair of his own. He can bat, he can bowl. He can hit the long ball and can bowl upfront even at the death. In addition to it, he can even lead a side if required. So many accolades yet he is not amongst the first choices in IPL. That's Jason Holder for you. Holder was one of the leading wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021 and has picked up 30 wickets in 15 matches in the last two seasons. Holder was released after IPL 2021. With a base price of Rs 2 crores, Holder can be an exclusive buy in the auction.

Liam Livingstone: Livingstone has been a household name in Franchise cricket all across the globe due to his batting and multi-dimensional bowling skills. But when it comes to the IPL his returns get somehow diminished. Livingstone can play the dual role as an opener or a middle order batsman and can bowl off spin as well as leg spin. His IPL stats may not sound encouraging enough but with a 1 crore price tag he may end up earning some big bucks.

Kuldeep Yadav: A couple of years back, he was touted as India's prime secret weapon in the bowling arsenal. But a Moeen Ali assault in the IPL somehow dented his confidence and ruined his ascent to the top. Kuldeep Yadav now finds himself in the discarded list of cricketers in International cricket as well as in IPL . Kuldeep Yadav played only 4 matches in last 2 years in the IPL and with age by his side, Kuldeep can very well turn the fortune wheel in the upcoming IPL by justifying his base price of Rs 1 crore.

Shahrukh Khan: Shahrukh Khan may not be the first domestic choice when it comes to select a batting all rounder in Indian cricket but he has time and again proved his worth with valiant performances. Shahrukh Khan burst into fame when he single handedly won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Tamil Nadu with a last ball six. A middle order power hitting batsman, Shahrukh Khan can easily clear any boundary at ease. His off spin too can be a handy option. With a base price of Rs 20 lakhs we can expect Shahrukh Khan to earn a lot of bidders.
